Win a bottle of Frankincense Hydrating Facial Mist from Neal’s Yard Remedies

One of the great things about working for myself is meeting other small business owners.

Take the lovely Harriet Radley, for instance. Harriet is an independent consultant and group leader for Neal's Yard Remedies who I met at our local WiRE networking group in Uttoxeter.

When I mentioned to Harriet I was going on holiday, she generously offered me a brand new bottle of Frankincense Hydrating Facial Mist, to trial while I was away.

As someone who runs "hot", I was really looking forward to testing this gorgeous-smelling mist to help cool me down under the hot Rhodes sun.

Mellow Duck Saxony Side Table in Lime Zest Gressington Suede | www.suzy-homemaker.co.uk

Remember this beauty?

Beloved and I have been living with the Saxony Side Table from Mellow Duck for a few months now and I can honestly say, it’s become such an incredibly useful piece of furniture here at OneandSeventy, I don’t know what I’d do without it!

From indispensible side table, to occasional guest seating, its robust construction and slim design works perfectly in our home. So far, the Saxony has slotted seamlessly into a myriad of lounge updates and the zesty lime has complimented every one of my seasonal changes. I clearly love green more than I thought!

We've also had occasion to put it through its cleaning paces and it passed... with flying colours.

Forest Holidays - Golden Oak cabin, Sherwood Forest | www.suzy-homemaker.co.uk

Few things give me greater pleasure than spending quality time with Beloved. I love nothing more than cracking open a bottle of wine, sharing a nice meal and putting the world to rights.

It's what makes the rest of my world so enjoyable.

Throw in a weekend away and my world is complete... Especially if that weekend involves a cabin in the forest.

Hiding out in a log cabin with nothing but trees, birds and the odd mammal to disturb us is our idea of heaven. From the moment we arrive, it's like coming home. Our shoulders drop and we feel instantly relaxed.

Happy 1st Birthday | www.suzy-homemaker.co.uk

Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday The World of Suzy Homemaker, Happy Birthday to me!

On Friday, it'll be a year since I wrote my very first blog post. A whole, entire, action-packed, fantastically inspiring and frankly, life-changing year! It's hard to believe that 12 months have passed so quickly. In some ways, it feels like I've been blogging for ever but in others, I still feel very much like the new kid on the block.

In celebration of my li'l ole blog's first Birthday, I'm giving away £25 worth of Gift Vouchers, which can be spent at over 18,000 places in the UK.

You lucky, lucky people!
